An original piece of the most famous dance floor in history donated to raise funds for Victim Support Greater Manchester
The picture shows the exact piece that the winner will receive. Each one is unique as they are original pieces, not reproductions.
You are bidding on a piece of the Hacienda dance floor which was made of tongue and groove sections of Canadian Maple. Your piece measures 16” long. The front is dirty and scratched; most of the varnish has been ‘danced’ off – you may want to wax it before framing. The back was never varnished.
To give provenance to your artefact you will receive a description of the wood, hand written on Hacienda letter headed paper and signed by Ang Matthews, accompanied by one of her business cards.
Please note that this is a genuine Hacienda item you are bidding on. Ang Matthews was the manager of the Hacienda from 1989 to the end of 1996.
