An exciting day at the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Coningsby for two.
First class train tickets from London to Grantham where they will be picked up by staff car. On arrival at RAF Coningsby at 10am they will be met by the Officer Commanding, Squadron leader Al Pinner who will give them a two hour tour of BBMF and the 12 aircraft on the flight, priceless pieces of our nation's heritage. They will then have lunch in the officers' mess followed by the opportunity to have photos taken in either the Spitfire, Hurricane or the Lancaster. Weather permitting, and assuming the aircraft is suitable there will also be the opportunity of a flight in the Dakota. However, this cannot be guaranteed. They will be returned to Grantham station for their return journey to London.
This will be truly a unique and magnificent day!
