Orchid exists to save men's live from testicular, prostate and penile cancers, through pioneering research and promoting awareness.

 

Every year, testicular cancer affects around 2000 younger men; prostate cancer strikes 30,000 older men, and causes 10,000 deaths - that's one death every hour. Orchid is the only UK charity dedicated to funding research into, and awareness about the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of these diseases. Our award winning testicular self examination DVD has been sent free to every UK school with boys aged 15-16. Our important scientific and clinical research findings have been published in respected journals, and Orchid played a key role in establishing the Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre at the Barts & London School of Medicine.
